"Arrived at hotel and was double charged for booking (by Expedia and front office staff) at checkin. Staff/Manager apologetic and refund the difference in cash.Was initially given a car park view room with balcony over a smoking area and cigarette smell coming up from below. Was promptly given a new room overlooking the river. Excellent hotel and facilities, staff friendly and everything clean. No USB outlet in room."

"My family and I booked three rooms at Furra and had a wonderful stay! The rooms were recently renovated and are very clean. The restaurant downstairs had excellent food and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Furra if you're visiting Gjirokaster! The street can get loud at night but if you're there to vacation and enjoy festivities, you'll be in the crowd anyway. "

"Our stay at the Gjirokaster Hotel was amazing! It was the off-season, and it felt we had the whole place to ourselves. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived in the evening, and he was very friendly. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the views of the mountains was amazing! "I booked this property because of all the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. A small run family guest house. It only has 5 rooms. I stayed 3 nights and was the only guest. A little way out, but very walkable. So peaceful. No barking dogs at night. My breakfast was a huge spread and could have feed 4 people. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.
